"Every business starts with a spark - and for Kaliko, that spark began with three letters: K, A, L"
Katie. Angela. Liddia.
Three local women searching for a name that reflected their shared commitment, something that truly put 'them' into it.

Kaliko (pronounced kah-leek-oh) is a Hawaiian word meaning 'beautiful bud', a symbol of new beginnings.
'It’s a name we feel perfectly reflects our journey and what Kaliko can become'.

The concept for Kaliko was born from our combined experience across beauty, business, creativity, and childcare - and a shared belief that children’s celebrations can be both fun and beautifully curated.
“Between us, we believe we have seen what works, what’s missing, and what families might want. We saw a gap for specific childrens wellbeing parties and took the leap”.
Katie has over 16 years’ experience in beauty and business, owning Guys and Dolls a multiple award winning salon alongside her award winning clothing boutique, Hermosa -located right next door to Kaliko.
Angela has a background in project management and is both a qualified aesthetics practitioner and tutor, known for her creativity, attention to detail, and high standards.
Liddia is an award winning photographer with a background in children’s care and pamper parties, she is currently completing her NVQ level 4 in childrens care to further strengthen her skill portfolio.
